![]() I typically name mine “_Overrides” because then it shows up at the top of my Mods folder when things are sorted alphabetically by folder/file name. You can actually name it whatever you want. Step 3: Create a new folder inside Mods named “Overrides” If the Mods folder doesn’t generate, you can add one inside of the Sims 4 folder through normal means. Long story short: this is usually in “Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4” on Mac and PC, but may be located elsewhere if you did an advanced install. If you’re unsure where this folder is, Crinrict has lots of good information on where to find it and what it contains here. The Mods folder will generate inside of your user files folder. Step 2: Navigate to your Mods folder in File Explorer or Finder This will make sure you have a Mods folder created, and that when you add mods to it, they’ll load in-game.
